Hey, I'm in orange county, california, just outside of LA, and there is a theater still showing Serenity close by in Santa Ana. I'm going to the 8:45pm show tonight. It would be cool to meet people there and see it together, if there are any browncoats in the area.

You don't suppose it'll still be there next weekend, do you? If so, we could make a pilgimage from the Flanvention. Talk about a wealth of Browncoats! That theater wouldn't know what hit 'em.

Wouldn't it be awesome to go to a showing of Serenity... with the cast of Serenity?

Ain't about you, Jayne. It's about what they need.

I'll check to see if it's playing next weekend. That would be sweet if we all came in force. I doubt it is a huge theater though.

Aren't they going to have screenings at Flanvention? Although, your idea sounds cool!!

Captain's Family Theatres A Mainplace 6
2800 N. Main St.
Santa Ana, CA 92701
714-808-0400

The theater hasn't posted any times for any movie past Dec. 8th Thursday. That is normal. They are showing Serenity 3 times, so I would think it will still be there over the weekend.

There are also 10 pages of theaters near Burbank, CA.

Here is one
Loews Universal Citywalk Cinemas
100 Universal City Plaza
Universal City, CA 91608
818-508-0711

Maybe they can get ahold of the Open Captioned Serenitys. There are 6 roaming the country.

Check with Regal Cinemas. Regal has first run theaters still playing Serenity in Fayetteville, AR, San Antonio, TX, Redmond, WA.

Maybe they can get a showing near Burbank, CA for next weekend. How about a showings at all three theaters after Flanvenction closes for the night. A midnight showing would be cool.

Here are the Regal Theaters near Burbank, CA
UA La Cañada 8
1919 Verdugo Blvd.
La Cañada, CA 91011

Edwards Atlantic Palace 10

Alhambra, CA 91801

Are you near Citrus Heights, CA? You could see Serenity in a theater again.

CA 95610 Citrus Heights Fandango United Artists Sunrise Mall 4 (4 shows)

Judging by the ticket price, this is a second-run theater.
