Is it down for good?

It was just working last night...

actually appears there are too many connections, is something going on there?

Considering they just put up a new challenge, I doubt it's gone for good. Maybe there was a link to the site somewhere in the DVD promotions and they're just overloaded? (wouldn't THAT be shiny!!!)

Yikes, I just tried and got the same thing. They surely wouldn't have closed it down without a warning. Doesn't seem possible.

Maybe Haken will notice your post and he will know what is going on.

It was up a couple of hours ago and it's been updated with challenges and videos in the past couple of days so I doubt it's gone for good (especially since the DVD hasn't been released yet).

Probably just a tech thing (too much traffic, hardware issues, etc)

I just got an e-mail from the Browncoats talking about a deleted scene from the DVD - I headed straight over, as I'm sure many flans did, and I guess they can't handle that much traffic...? I hope that's it, anyway.

I didn't realize they sent out an email - because that probably is it. IIRC, the site went down quite a bit just before the movie release.

Everyone wants to see the deleted scenes early I guess
