Hi, all, I was off the boards last week, so someone else may have mentioned this, but I caught an episode of Bones (which I don't always catch, despite loving to see Boreanaz on the air).

So, there was this magic little moment where the two geeks in the lab are watching a misbehaving robot, and one tells the other: "it's just like you: tell it to 'run' and it sits, tell it to take out the garbage and it watches reruns of Firefly."

It made me give a little yell and vow to watch the show from now on, if the writers are cool like that.

It's the little things...

Yeah, it was pointed out, a time or two, here on the board. I missed the ep myself, but got a shiver and a smile when I heard.

Whats Bones? it sounds kinda cool - i'm picturing it in my mind as the american version of Spaced -

is it worth trying to track down?

It's a show that is on Fox now. I've not watched much of it, but the premise to the story is about this girl who is an anthropologist and she and the FBI agent (David Boreanas from Angel) solve mysteries and crimes that utilizes her knowledge of bones and the human body. I'm not sure if it is a good show or not. I only watched one episode of it, so you'll have to rely on some others on here for that information. I'm sure there are a few peeps here that watch the show.

I usually watch the show, and it's good. Not great, don't think it will ever be great, but good. One or two of the show's premises are a bit unrealistic (like the trial for a murder victim starting a week or two after the body is discovered) but the character interaction is above average (IMHO), at least among the main three. I just hope they don't only go for the "character flaw/quirk/secret revelation of the week" format, with that flaw/quirk/secret then never again affecting the story arcs.

For example, one of the characters' family is filthy rich, and somewhat famous, but he doesn't like to let it be known. It was used in one episode, and never mentioned again (yet!).
