Hey, all-

I'm new here (only very recently addicted to Firefly/Serenity), but I wanted to share for all my Minnesota peeps (and as an example for all others out there looking to keep this bad boy of a franchise running) - The Riverview Theater in Minneapolis has been running Friday night showings of Serenity for at least the past month, up to and including last Friday. They are a family run type operation and they are VERY responsive to customer requests. Case in point (besides that they extended the run of Serenity another several weeks "Due to popular demand), they are running all three Lord of the Rings movies at the beginning of the year at the request of the loyal and devoted movie goers. So, here's the meat of it:

1) Minnesotans out there (and Iowans and Wisconsinites, were not picky), write to the Riverview theater ( www.riverviewtheater.com) and beg, plead, whine, whatever until they agree to keep running Serenity once a week. Let's see how long we can keep this good thing going.

2) All you not so blest as to live in this coldest of states, find a local second run theater, organize your fellow dorks, and beg, plead, whine until they agree to do at least a showing of Serenity.

I know, it won't make much difference in the total box office sales. But dammit, who hear wouldn't like to see it in the theater with 300 of their nearest and dearest, huh?

Peace.
