Now I'm not completely sure about this, but back when Objects In Space last aired on SF, I could have sworn that they aired the version of the episode that originally aired on Fox.

It included the scene with Mal and Inara that is now a 'deleted' scene in the FF box set in which Mal asks something to the effect of "couldn't you stand not spreading for a spell?" of Inara.

Anyone else notice this?

I didn't see it on tv but I think on the comentary joss says something about a scene that was put it to explain stuff for when it aired and then wasn't necessary, I always wondered what that was...

"I'm an artist, with an e and a beret."

Sci-Fi bought the re-run rights so they can't air the versions seen on the DVD so you are correct that it was the version that aired originally on Fox with Inara and Mal conversation about leaving.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.
