Okay, here's the set-up:

More than a year ago, I ordered a set of Serenity trading cards through the now-defunct Universal board. Got a confirmation number by E-mail a few days later, and waited. And waited. And waited.

It became a sore spot; although the cards cost only 500 points, the lack of that 500 prevented me from ordering a t-shirt or ball cap before they all sold out.

When the U-board folded, there was an E-mail address listed for any complaints or comments on orders from their store. I sent a somewhat testy E-mail, and got a quick reply saying that my order was being expedited.

Then yesterday FedEx delivered a very large envelope, containing a single pack of six trading cards. I had to laugh. The package was so gol-durned purdy that I put off opening it until tonight, and that early only because my darling daughter rolled her eyes at me.

I just got a Summer Glau authentic autograph card! Thanks honey!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Worth the wait indeed!

I have collected the cards a while now & have not found an autograph card yet, though I do have three of the cards w/ pieces of costumes from the BDM.

Checking the Inkworks website, I find that they supposedly pack an average of one autograph card and one Pieceworks (costume piece) card per 36-pack box. Looks like we both beat the odds.
