Hi all, I've only just got into the Firefly/serenityaverse when I got the Firefly boxset before Christmas, and I've got to say it's brilliant.Anyhoo just Thought I'd say hi.

If you’re hungry for more of the Firefly/Serenityverse, there’s some additional material out there you can look into: To promote the Big Damn Movie (BDM), Joss Whedon (the creator/director/genius) and Summer Glau (River) filmed a series of short video clips, the River Tam Sessions, to be released as viral marketing. Each is only one or two minutes long and they can be found here: www.session416.com. They purport to be security footage of a series of “sessions” between River and a doctor at the Academy. They’re fun and fascinating to watch. Joss also wrote a three-issue series of “Serenity” comic books that were released over the summer before the BDM premiered. They bridge the gap between the series and the movie, and read like a lost episode of the series. It may be difficult/impossible to find the individual issues at this point, but they’ve been collected into a single graphic novel style trade paperback from Dark Horse that should be out this month. And speaking of “lost episodes,” you can find an unfilmed “Firefly” shooting script, "Dead or Alive," here on FFF.net at http://www.fireflyfans.net/feature.asp?f=45.

Hello, I'm a new member.

I just finshed watching the last Firefly episode, and I just got it through my thick head that there are not going to be anymore Firefly episodes. Why did they make this great show just to end it so soon? I hear that there is a movie, and I'm going to go out and rent it tonight, but after seeing the movie, what else is out there for the fans?

Reading Fanfic, the official Comics, writing Fanfic. Watch the Fanmade Videos postet on this site, they are really worth it. And then... yeah. Wait. Watching the Series again... and again. Wait. For another Movie or Series. ;)

You might have to watch the DVDs some more because each time you watch it, you will find something new!

This forum is full of really nice and helpful people who are really smart and somewhat opinionated, but are really great to talk with and share ideas with, so pull up a chair and welcome to the family!!!

To give you an idea of what you can look for wath the Series again. Try to; listen for the background conversations (mostly low mumblings so listen hard), look for what the characters do when they are not the main part of the shot, and just see if you can find anything in the background that you didnt notice before Ex: the Blue Sun Room sign on the Rusty Trailer in Ep.1, or Jaynes diff shirts theyre usually good for a few kicks hehe...
