Given the way Joss already has the propensity to -- er -- do unpleasant things to his characters, let's hope he isn't watching this season of "24".

As such, should "Firefly" ever return, Joss might be inclined to finish off all of our beloved Browncoats. Then where would we be?

HELL'S KITTEN

I really don't think he needs to get ideas from elsewhere. He's already thought of it, as he's mentioned.

I liked Edgar, but also couldn't stand him sometimes, I don't think it's a big loss. Michelle and Palmer though.. wow.

Personally, I favor this season of "24" over any of the previous ones. They're all interesting, and I enjoy the show for the most part. I do think the writers are bit "strange", though, at times. Some of the totally unrealistic things they throw into the script...

For instance, Kim's finding out about Jack last night. Obviously, none of the writers ever lost a parent whom they deeply cared for. I have. And I know that if I were told today that my father was alive, I wouldn't care how long he let me think he was dead, why, how, or any other such nonsense. I'd give anything to see him for just five minutes. To think that a child who cared about a parent whom they loved would react like Kim did in last night's episode is just nonsense, and very far-fetched and/or naive on the part of the writers.

I still enjoy the show, though.

No one rakes up a body count like "24".
