I love when subtle seed-planting bears fruit. I recently acquired a "Blue Sun" coffee mug, took it to work, and made it my "Bill Lumbergh" mug of choice.

Been casually walking around the office with it in hand, going to meetings, the breakroom, other people's cubes(checking on the status of their TPS reports), and ever-so-subtlely leaving it displayed on my desk for all to get curious about.

I've netted 3 converts in the last two weeks with an exchange that's gone something like this:

BROWNCOAT-TO-BE: "Hey, that's a neat mug...what is 'Blue Sun'?"
JONESTEIN: "Well, lemmee tell ya 'bout it..."

Made my day yesterday when convert numero three-o gave me an unsolicited "Shiny!" as we passed each other in the hall. Thought my face was gonna split wide open from the Big Damn Grin I made after he said that.

Shiny, damn shiny!

Ha! and a fourth recruit is in-the-making! Just had a co-worker stop by my desk to inform me she has cue'd up today's SciFi marathon on her DVR!

Way shiny!
