I really don't think anything in this is a big spoiler, but to play it safe I have used spoiler tags for plot related things

I just saw a movie that:

Was released by Universal

Was poorly advertised

Stars Nathan Fillion

Has a black male preacher

The movie also has:

A shot of Earth as seen from space at the beginning of the movie

A shot of a large object breaking atmo

Canabilistic humans

A young girl that fights the canabilistic humans and knows their origins

We get to see things in the young girl's head

Stuff comes out of the young girls mouth

Nathan's character:

talks on a CB radio

shoots someone rather than allow that person to fully become one of the canabilistic humans

has a long sharp pointy thing thrust into his upper abdominal area. Its pulled out of him and he is still able to walk around

is in love with a woman he can't have

doesn't want to use grenades at first but does later on
