Bentor... I had a blast at your last Bryn Mawr Film Institute midnight showing of Serenity. WHEN ARE YOU DOING IT AGAIN?!? The trivia and music were a nice touch.

Don't forget about Serenity Saturdays, the last one is this week (showing the R Tam sessions and the BDM) and that's at least somewhat close to Philly (although "Corner o' No and Where" is a phrase that's never far from my mind either ).

YES!

Hey there Browncoats! I *actually* posted about two weeks back and was sad to see the topic drop right to the bottom... and also sad to see fan sites (not just this one) not carry the news in that message...

the first bit: we ARE going to show Serenity this fall - right in time for the one year anniversary of theatrical release - so it *should* be September 29th and 30th!!!! (Friday and Saturday at midnight)

I'm going to see about a charity screening w/ "Can't Stop the Serenity" in June, but it seems unlikely... it's really hard to get our distributors to agree to let us cancel a Friday night prime time show... It's not that we're greedy!!!

BUT, I do have AWESOME NEWS FOR APRIL!

We're showing STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN on Friday April 21st and Saturday April 22nd at midnight. Khan got me into sci-fi and movies in general at a young age and is just as kick ass as our BDM... both are some of the few sci-fi movies i can really recommend to *anyone*...

So everyone should consider coming out - the best Star Trek movie by far and in 35mm! If you guys haven't seen it, you should definitely consider checking out, 'cuz it rocks... maybe not as cuddly as the Serenity crew, but another example of great character developement, clever dialogue (if not as high-larious) and a compelling to distraction villian.

So please come on out! And keep your Serenity calendars marked for Sept. 29th and 30th!!!

OH!!!

I forgot!!!

I also have a screening up of MY feature writing and directing debut: CELLAR.

www.cellarmovie.com - check out the trailer!

We premiered last year in the Philadelphia Film Fest (winning the Technical Achievement Award), went to Calgary, Canada, and won "Best Feature" at the Hollywood Digital Festival AND the Four Site Film Fest in Utah.

CELLAR screens April 24th at the Ambler Theater - www.amblertheater.org at 7pm.

Please Browncoats! Come out and see this award-winning feature film written and directed by yours truly... come see it and tell all your friends to watch for it on video so I can get Nathan for my next one!!

Thanks - please do come!

-Ben
