Most of the hardcore FF fans will have already seen this, but for those that are less "tenacious" at finding stuff on the 'net, I thought you might appreciate this comment on the listing for Nathan Fillion at http://www.imdb.com

Nathan Fillion really is an amazing actor, and he will go above and beyond for his fans. When he was on One Life To Live I wrote him a letter and I put my address and phone number in the letter hoping to get an autographed picture. Well, at 6 pm on my 18th birthday (April 4, 1995), I got something I never would have dreamed of getting! He called me!! (I swear I'm not lying!) My sister answered the phone, and she says, Mo, do you know anyone named Nathan? And it didn't even occur to me that it would be Nathan Fillion. So I pick up the phone and he's like "Maureen?" and I said "Yes, who is this?" and he says "Nathan." and I said "Nathan who?" and he says "Fillion." And I'm like "Holy cow!!!" My sister than gets on the phone thinking it's one of my friends playing a joke and starts yelling at him. After I apologized profusely we started talking about our lives and families, and he had enough details to know it was really him. Then my sister (who was listening in on my parents phone upstairs)realized it was him and she yells "Holy cow, it's really you!" He is a wonderful actor and I see him going places and being the next big thing. But I will always remember him as the great guy who gave me my ultimate birthday present.

Mal: You are very much lacking in imagination.
Zoe: I imagine that's so, sir.

I also read this one on IMDB. It's a hoot, isn't it? I can all-too-easily picture Mal's deadpan as he answered "Fillion" to the question "Nathan who?"

If someone like Mr. Fillion doesn't deserve and receive the very best from Hollywood, then I'm on the wrong planet. This story has brightened my week, and I didn't even get a call from him!

God bless you, Nathan Fillion!
