Some things, such as the roleplaying game's website, have the planets and moons all in one orbit around the same star/sun. Other sources, such as page 117 of the official visual companion, have what looks like several systems, or something, and i'm not sure how to interpret it. What is the correct/official depiction? -Pax "My secret is..."

As far as other evidence is concerned there is one graphic that seems to show many (6 or 7 it's kinda hard to be sure) suns each with a system of planets. It's on page 208 of the RPG and page 117 of the OVC. Now some people discount that picture since it wasn't clearly shown in the movie and it does look to be a rather dubious arrangement from a scientific point of view but the alternative of dozens of habitable worlds orbiting the one star is also very dubious scientifically speaking so it boils down to what seems least unreasonable to you. At least untill somebody in charge says one way or the other. David

So that money could be for a particular solar system and the reference to quadrant might be a different solar system, but then again this might not be cannon (if that's how that is spelled.)

Quote:All I am saying is, FROM THE MOVIE, THAT is the only clue we have to show how things are "Officially" laid out, even though it doesn't fit with everything from the Firefly Series, or even the Movie.
Quote:(And if you look closely, NONE of the rings have two planets on them.. that blotch on the left is part of the bill design that overlaps the ring... there's a blotch on the 5th ring on the right side that is part of the Conch shell design, again, overlapping the ring... of course I have a High Def Widescreen Monitor, so the detail may be clearer on my machine.)
