Some of you may know about this already...but I did not want to
post until I ordered the prop replicas I wanted. Worried they
won't make enough.

Replica of Mal's gun.
Cash replica set.

Model of Serenity with spinning section and lights (2007)

Me too. Hope it isn't too expensive.

DonCoat, did you get the Serenity Ornament from
Dark Horse? It is shiny and will just have to
tide me over until the spinning, lighted one
comes out.

I don't see any option for Int'l shipping.
I have contacted them to see if it is possible and will let everyone know what response I get.

It would suck big time if they don't or can't do it.

We'll see tho'.

'Deed I did, preordered it in fact. It's quite good, very detailed. But...

Larger. Larger. Larger would be better!

Actually, I've been in touch with some professional modelmakers, and got some quotes on a large-scale Serenity. Going that route would not be cheap! I have no doubt this one will be priced lower than a one-off hand built replica.

One of my colleagues is a former modelmaker (he used to make wind tunnel models for aircraft manufacturers) and a fellow Browncoat. We've talked about doing a model (well, two of them) ourselves. But that would take a *lot* of time.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I have already preordered the replica of Mal's pistol. I have several of the Alliance bills already that were used as props in the movie (I so love Nathan).

I am definitely interested in the Serenity replica, but I am curious as to the size and level of detail.

More than anything in the world (well almost anything) I want a replica of the Blue Sun bottle Jayne and Simon drink out of in the BDM (when Mal is talking about getting the word out).

I'm always scouting around for a blue bottle with the right shape that I could slap a sticker on - but so far, no luck.

No, actually she gave them to me as a birthday present after the Con that year. She knew how much I liked them and she knew I would display them where we could all enjoy them.

She is the best daughter ever.

They do ship internationally - if you send them a mail they will sort it out for you, as it's not currently an option on the website.
