How do you accept people who request to be your friend?

This board isn't set up like most of the boards I go to. Where do I go to accept a fellow poster as friend? Can't seem to find anywhere on this site where that it's possible, even though I get requests from time to time. I know this throws me firmly back into the newb category, but such is life - LOL

Who is sending friend requests? How are they sending them? We don't have anything like that on this site as far as I've been able to tell, and I have looked into every aspect of this place I could find.

I don't know, but I got an email from someone here asking me to be his "friend". I deleted the email thinking there'd be something here fairly obvious to click on... but I guess not - LOL.

Yeah, are you sure it wasn't on serenitymovie? Because that sorta threw me off when they started having that too....but I don't know if you have an account there or not...But yeah on this site you can't do the friend stuff. Or at least not to my knowledge.

Yup, it does and so does the Skiffy board. http://forums.scifi.com/index.php?showforum=80
which is set up so much like the Browncoat Board ( serenitymovie.org) that it's nearly identical except for colors.
By the way.. the Skiffy board is lit up with folks on fire to get more Firefly/Serenity and a mighty fun place to go post too.. and it has the added benefit of SciFi being able to see how many of us there are.

Yep, figured it out. I deleted the email to quick, to soon to early and just figured it was from here but it was actually my MySpace account. Rack up another brian fart for the ole Whipster.
