ive been gone for a while(dont ask why). but im back!!! wooo. and ive got an idea for a fan fic but since it has nothing to do with Firefly's verse i dont know if i should make it.

its about the people that stayed on Earth when everyone else left for a new solar system. it follows a group of theives/kidnappers/smugglers trying to survive on a planet that only has a million or so inhabitants.

Earth That Was! Seems very Firefly/Serenity related. Mal in Firefly says Earth was all used up. Serenity says Earth was too crowded. Both could be true or one or the other.

500 years ago the others left...maybe we should follow them. Do they know if anybody made it? Do they think the grass is greener in the other solar system? Or do they think everybody died on the way.

What if new people from Earth kept leaving and heading to the 'verse. Might get a little more crowded.

Wonder if anybody turned around and came back to Earth before reaching the 'verse.
