I've read a few things about the episode order being incorrect on the DVD's upcoming next month. Can anyone give me some solid, simple info about the correct order.
It appears the first two episodes on the DVD are switched and the final 3 are out of order. I don't want to buy a DVD set that isn't even shown in the correct order.
Someone help me out and let me know if the release will be in the correct or incorrect order. Thanks.

You do realize that you're not obligated to watch them in any particular order. That's the thing about DVDs, you can watch any episode you want.

Anyway, the correct order according to online retailers is:

Serenity
The Train Job...

Trash
The Message
Heart of Gold...

Hi! I'm new to the board but I have the set already and it runs in the order in which Joss intended. They go like this:

One -
Serenity Pt 1 & II
The Train Job
Bushwacked

Two -
Shindig
Safe
Our Mrs. Reynolds
Jaynestown

Three -
Out of Gas
Ariel
War Stories
Trash

Four (unaired) -
The Message
Heart of Gold
Objects in Space
Special Features...

Hope it helps!

Someone has reported that many of the DVD sets are shipping upside down!! This would be fine for the Australian viewers, but its not made for their region. Fox has promised refunds for any sets shipped this way and put up instructions on the home page on how to turn the box over if the user wishes to attempt the procedure at home.
