Hi everyone, Timeless Destinations is a con that used to be Gatecon, long story, but half of the staff went to the UK and kept Gatecon, and the other half stayed in Vancouver to start TD. I have been to all the conventions except the first in 2001. It is a blast, not even close to a Creation con. The guests mingle with the fans, and many of the guests are family to me, so it is really a family reunion. It is a 7 day Sci Fi and fantasy con that costs only $250 US for the week. There are banquets with guest actors at each table, charity events auctions where the guests run around the room, offer kisses to the winning bidder. There are picnics with the actors, boat cruises where they perform in skits, singing and such. It is one of the best fans run cons around! Jewel Stait has now agreed to come! Hopefully this is the first Firefly guest to come.

You can suggest guests and if possible they will be invited. This is only the second year TD so it is still building, but the more tickets you buy the more guests will get invited. Maybe some year the whole Firefly cast will come, and I think Morena is filming in Vancouver for the made for TV movie Stargate SG1; since she is an Ori and the first film is about the Ori; so maybe she will get invited.

Come on Browncoats here is your chance to dance, party with one of your favorite Frefly gals. There is a dance and actors do come and boogie down. Richard Hatch never misses a dance, and he is a very cool guy!
