If you're waiting to purchase tickets to the Can't Stop The Serenity event in North Texas on Saturday, 23 June 2007... don't wait any longer.

There are only 50 tickets remaining, and last year there were 65 "walk-up" tickets purchased the night of the show.

To ensure you won't be on the outside looking in on Saturday night, buy your tickets now.

There's the Q&A session with Jane Espenson, writer of the "Firefly" episode "Shindig," as well as 23 episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," two episodes of the current incarnation of "Battlestar Galactica," and co-editor of the BenBella Books publications 'Finding Serenity' and 'Serenity Found.'

There's the performance by Cedric of the Bedlam Bards, who recorded the Verse-themed "On The Drift" and won the Best Band award at the 2006 Renaissance Festival Music Awards.

There's the plethora (si, Senor Guapo!) of door prizes to be won, including copies of the Special Edition DVD of Serenity, advance copies of 'Serenity Found,' autographed photos, and a helluva lot more.

There's the chance to win a cabin for two on the Browncoat Cruise.

There's the Big Damn Bag auction.

Seriously, if you are a North Texas Firefly fan, and you're not at the Studio Movie Grill in Arlington on Saturday night... I simply don't know what to tell you.

Also i work until 7, what time does the event start or do i need to call in with Chinese flu?
