It seems obvious to me that with the release of the collector's edition of Serenity and Firefly being aired in High Def. That Universal is testing the waters again as they did with HD-DVD to see whether or not they are going to make money funding another Serenity project. So those who can get the Universal channel should watch and the rest of us should buy the movie again. Am I right ?!

I look out for me and mine.

I've got mine pre-ordered. I figure my other DVD would make a nice gift come Christmas.

Oh, yeah! I'm waiting for the release of the new DVD! And yes, this could very well be Universal "testing the waters again"! Let's keep our fingers crossed!
