I know I love Joss and he created Firefly but based on the episodes Joss actually wrote I prefer the Tim Minear scripted episodes, mostly cause of Out of Gas, best episode easily.

Joss did put together the great writers room group ever,
I would like to be best pals with all these people...
I'd like to have weekly dinners for Joss & Tim & Jane & Drew & also Doug Fury and David Greenwalt and and and (who am I forgetting?)

Tim deserves major kudos not only for Firefly, but for the too quickly cancelled Wonderfalls and Drive as well.

You forgot Ben Endlund as well. Guy who wrote "Smile Time" on ANGEL and "Jaynestown" on FIREFLY. Plus, on his own, he created THE TICK.

For the simple fact that poor Tim keeps making great shows for FOX and FOX keeps canceling them before they even hit the air he deserves a governement comendation. A multi-media purple heart or something.

Tim deserves a shot with someone who'll give him a shot. I swear, in his shoes I'd have ripped out my own heart (or preferably someone else's!) after Drive was cancelled. Damn fine writing, damn fine directing, for all three shows, and all three got knocked out from under him. Cripes.

Hey! Can we all chip in together and buy the Fox execs a clue? Oh... no... hasn't worked yet, has it?

(I'm getting negative. I'll stop now.)

I'm shiny.

I've got Tim Minear's DVD "Breaking the story." I haven't had a chance to watch it. I loved Out of Gas so much that I'm hoping to learn a little from a master.

Anybody seen it yet?

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

Tim Minnear rocks. I can't say enough good things about Wonderfalls. And "The Inside" was great too. Not to mention my fav Firefly eps.

I will also watch anything David Greenwalt writes. Profit is one of my fav series of all time. And my fav Angel eps were written by either David or Tim.

Has anyone checked out the new "vampire detective in LA" series Moonlight? The pilot was written by David Greenwalt, according to the IMDB.

this all happened some time ago but - greenwalt's coming then going from moonlight was pretty bruising apparently. i haven't seen the final show - but all i know from various forums is that Reaper is meant to be better.

and if we're doin non firefly - hell i'll just give a quick shout to doug petrie* and rebecca rand kirshner and sara craft and and ok i'm breathless now!:)

but someone mentioned ben edlund and smile time - genius!

*anyone aint down with harriet the spy? get outta here!
