If everyone who wants to see Firefly back on the air pitches 5 to 50 or more dollars, does anyone thinnk we could buy the rights to the show? I understand it is more complicated than that, but we could probably do it! because, No power in the 'verse can stop us!

Welcome to the site Wstrege! Glad to have you here posting with us.

The idea of the fans purchasing the rights to Firefly has been discussed several times over the years and discounted as a viable option. Fox does not necessarily have to sell the rights to the show, then there is all the legal issues of who really owns it and calls the shots.

As good an idea as it may be, it just holds no hope of working out and might even do far more harm than good.
