(Thrindig?)

Only 1.5 days left.

Just to beat the pulpit, y'all are ready to run out and clean up shelves, right? A good healthy future at Dark Horse depends on how quickly these babies vanish. And a good healthy future at Dark Horse could spill over.

Seriously, head count, how many people are waiting for the April 9 release? It's not every day we get new content.

Gilead

Mal: Cattle on the ship three weeks, she don't go near 'em. Suddenly we're on Jianying, and she's got a driving need to commune with the beasts?
River: They weren't cows inside. They were waiting to be, but they forgot. Now they see sky, and they remember what they are.
Mal: Is it bad that what she said made perfect sense to me?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I always buy two to three copies of each comic. The local shop always sells out in 2-3 days and has to reorder. Those Left Behind saw several reprints, a trade paperback, and now a hardcover. No doubt Better Days will as well.

Hopefully Joss will see how viable the comic option is for stories of the crew and will do a monthly series as he is with Buffy & Angel.

I pre-ordered all 3 issues through http://DCBService.com

I have to wait till the end of the month though because I only pay for monthly shipping. It's worth the wait though.

Well he has said that he thinks the performances of the actors' are a very large part of the experience for him. So expect the occasional mini-series (next planned is an arc exploring Book and his mysterious past.) but not a monthly.

yeah, in a radio interview (a year & a half ago) Joss said he was holding out for a chance to have the actors in the stories,
so unless Joss has given up all hope (which I don't want to every have happen) then I'm guessing we'll just get these occasional short series....
I hear they are already working on a series about Shepherd Book's past.

I'll get my 2 at the end of the month too. I have a subscription through www.tfaw.com.

I also just got a shiny email from SpazDog Comics that my Nathan Fillion signed "Better Days #1" is on it's way. They sold out in just a few hours when they were offered on Ebay.

BTW the money from the signed comics went to Nathan's literacy charity, "KidsNeedToRead." "KidsNeedToRead" just made two terrific donations to school libraries. You can read more about it here http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=208305
