What's the deal with Target and the DVDs?

Hey all;

We might have a problem here. I was in Target (Philadelphia) today, with the intent of doing a bit of guerrilla marketing on the DVDs (strategic placement in front of less worthy offerings, and the like...). No sign of the set in sight. I asked a staffer, and he informed me that they were not carrying it any more. They had for a short time after it came out, then discontinued it from their inventory. When I asked the fellow, he told me that this was Target-wide, and NOT just that individual store!

Does anyone know if this is sooth? If so, how shall we respond? Shall we target Target?
