This certainly has Firefly in the ointment written all over it. They see the type of cult
following this movie has and want in. What could they possibly tell the judge that will convince
him that 20 years after the fact (and not having so much as a nickle in the dime) to grant them
the restraining order.

I've never heard of a contract in perpetuity. Has Fox made any attempt at producing this movie in
that time? I don't think that a major studio like Warner's is going to spend millions on a movie
without first checking to make sure every i is dotted and every t is crossed.


If I were the judge, I would tell Fox to cough up half the production costs or bow out.

Bottom line is money talks, BS walks.
