Someone at Google is a Firefly fan. I'm sure of it.

Quote:

What is a wave?

A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.

A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

Oh god, I thought it might've just been a coincedence, then I starting watching the video.

At about 10:45, they start having a fake conversation, and he says "Shiny! You must know..blahblahblah.."

In the video at 13:56, Firefox crashes. In the bottom right of the screen, it says "Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"

Too bad about google's inevitable betrayal by banning all 100-million videos on google video.

Expect your waves to be deleted as well. Unless used in your inevitable prosecution, of course.

Censorship will also be an issue. Type the wrong word, and expect your wave and/or account to be deleted. Like google's youtube is infamous for.

"Why not improve the brain? Perhaps in the future, we can attach a little version of Google that you plug into your brain. We'll have to develop stylish versions, but then you'll have all the world's knowledge immediately available, which is pretty exciting."

"'They're hurting us. Get me out!' The Government was playing with her brain. They opened up her skull and cut into her brain. The only reason you do that is to lobotomize somebody. They did it over, and over..."

Oh my, I didn't notice that during the Firefox crash, that's brilliant!! Why doesn't mine do that...if they keep that as part of Wave, it'll be fantastic.
