I thought I'd start a thread dedicated to our efforts to promote Firefly and attract new viewers.

The recommendation campaign on Amazon is going well, it's really great seeing Firefly mentioned under so many of the top sellers. Keep it up!

I think it could really begin to pay off when people go to the site to buy a new release, and see that 15 or more people recommended a different DVD set they've never heard of!

I heard of other promotion campaigns such as writing on dollars, and the Hollywood Stock Exchange effort, I'm curious what other ideas are out there?

I thought this could become a list for all the people who want to do something to promote the show, but don't know where to start.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

The recommendation campaign at Amazon seems to really be getting the Firefly name out there. Great idea.

I have been writing on bills so whenever I use cash, the name and this website gets passed around. Not sure how much good that is doing.

I write "Firefly: Keep Flyin'" along w/ this site address on anything I can that will catch attention. Lately it has been on MDA shamrocks at local restaurants and stores.

I think a great idea would be a flier campaign. It would be great to get something official from ME, Universal, or both that we could hang up in local bookstores, movie rental stores, comic shops, game stores, you name it. We could post these fliers anywhere we get permission to do so to help advertise the movie and get the public interested. All ME would have to do is give us an official movie flier, or permission to create one, and we take it from there. Nothing like a little free promotion.
