Likes to mess with stuffs.

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but is there a 'Firefly' nod within 'Inception'? Leonardo's character is named Cobb while his wife is named Mal.

BTW, the hype on this movie is unreal.

I can see what you're saying but I would have to say it's unlikely - but possible I guess.
More likely just one of those coincidences that Browncoats pick up on because of their attachment to the show. I've noticed several folk like to make connections that are really nothing more than shows sharing the same details, names or whatever.
I guess the easiest way to know is watch the movie (next Wednesday for me) and see if other links are given. Or you could ask Christopher Nolan.

The hype is unreal but it could well be an excellent summer blockbuster with brains that will piss on all the Clash Of Titans, A-Team etc crap that gets released.

Even if it's not a shout-out, it's pretty cool.

Oh, and I definitely saw Chiwetel Ejiofor in the previews for 'Salt.' While that's not a shout-out, it is some high-profile exposure for the Operative. (and will hopefully be a better movie than 2012)
