What Would Mal do ?

ok..so.. I'm waaay slow on the uptake of technology...actually been living with a blackberry for a few years..but recently was talked into snagging an iphone...and of course..the chase for itunes began...but when it came time to choose video uploads for those boring airplane rides and airport layovers...well..there was no question nor hesitation as to what the first vid was to be.

small screen for older eyes..but since I know every dang line of the show...guess it really doesn't matter if I can see all the details or not.

Hmmm really? My phone isn't an iphone but it plays video and I don't have Serenity on it at all.

I first put Dr. Horrible on, then every episode of Firefly. Then I grabbed a few of the better episodes of How I Met Your Mother. I have Iron Man on there. Still no Serenity though. It just doesn't seem like a movie I'd want in a waiting room or whatever.

Though I must say video on a phone is so awesome when in waiting rooms. Dr. Horrible ftw!

I think the iphone screen is pretty amazing, great contrast, rich color, and very sharp - so long as you aren't in direct sun, but even then find some shade and crank the brightness.
Do you watch with headphones? It's a must imho, you'll get the same digital sound that you would from a dvd, and the overall sound experience is better than a tv since it's blocks everything else like extraneous airport noise plus it's just more immersive.
I also suggest you get a copy of handbrake - http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
it makes it so you can watch any of those dvds that YOU PAID FOR on your new phone.

Likes to mess with stuffs.

I use a program called Air Video that streams all my media files from my computer to my iPhone and iPad no matter where I'm at. It's an awesome app and I highly recommend it. No need to wait and re-encode everything as it does it on the fly.

my bad.. I did say serenity..but I meant Firefly ..the series..and yeah...have some nice quality ear buds...thanks for the heads up on the other apps too.
