The current status is that there are no plans to air the show.

Welcome to the Alligator Point Web! This is a fan site for the television pilot "Alligator Point" produced by Grammnet Productions for NBC starring Nathan Fillion, Park Overall, Jaime Pressly, James McDaniel, Paula Marshall, Joel McCrary, and Jim Rash.

Yes, it is just a pilot. Nope, it wasn't picked up by NBC for this fall, and it may not ever air. But Nate was in it and a lot of people put a lot of hard work into it, so this site is to acknowledge them! Additionally, NBC may still pick up the show as a midseason replacement due to the fabulous response to the test screening. Also, a group of fans went to see the taping of the pilot, and this site tells the story of their trip!

Edit - NBC opted not to pick up the show as a midseason replacement.
