Glad to see fireflyfans.net is still active! I still love this show more than eight years later, it's amazing the impact it had for such a short run...

A few years ago I created a fake trailer for a sequel to Serenity:



More recently I created another fake trailer, this time re-interpreting Firefly as a series set in modern times, not the future. Mal is a disgruntled Afghanistan war vet, and Serenity is a tramp freighter. I'm not 100% sure it works, but it sure was fun to make, and I thought I'd share. Here it is (view in HD at youtube):
