A couple days ago, my girlfriend and I got into a fight. At one point, I had had enough and was storming out of the room when she said something that just made me furious. I was in the mood to hit something.(no, i'm no wife-beater) As I passed the door I balled up my fist and BAM, hit the fake wood/plastic/whatever door to our bedroom. This did no damage to the door, but I'm afraid I can't say the same for my hand.

As I stood there ringing my hand, feeling like a dumbass, she starts laughing. Then I start laughing. Then the words just come out, "They say, never hit a man with a closed fist. But sometimes it's pretty damn hilarious." We both burst out in more laughter. The fight was over.

I'm sure I got the quote wrong, but you get the point. So Firefly may have saved me from a night on the couch. Thanks Joss! :-)
