'Morning all. I Have been a poster here only once or twice, but have been a lurker for probably a year. Call me shy, I guess. Have enjoyed this site to no end, with the exception of the political debates, but that's a personal thing.

Was thinking last night of a scene I would have liked to have been able to see and thought I'd see if anyone else had one (or more) of those. If not, guess this is going to be a lonely thread!

Anyway - I would like to have seen when the rest of the crew arrived back onto Serenity in "Out of Gas"... Coming back, after having confronted their own mortality in such a way, walking off the shuttles all relieved - only to wonder where Mal was. Walking, chatting, maybe laughing. Then someone sees the blood streaks on the wall. Or maybe the drips on the floor. Who'd notice them first? Then the confusion and panic as they followed the trail, becoming more and more concerned for the safety of their captain as they went.

Then the discovery on the bridge, the cries, the chaos...

Know how it all ends, of course, just maybe would have liked to see the journey.

Thanks for letting me ponder.

ALIENZOOKEEPER

Actually, i think this is exactly what fanfic is all about, so get busy! 8-)

Anyway, my favorite scene i would like to have seen-

I really want to see what Mal had to say to Niska, after zoe, Wash and Jayne blew his torturer away and before they all ran for serenity...

Also when Book got back on Serenity and asked about the ambulance, after Ariel...

Oh, and from the unproduced script, Dead Or Alive, where River is telling the kids a truly Grimm fairy tale!

vince the alien zookeeper

i wouldn't mind seeing what happened at the end of the war. how did mal and zoe get out of serenity valley? they were told to surrender, did they actually do that or were they able to escape? come to think of it, every battle that is shown concerning the unification war shows the independents getting defeated. maybe this was very deliberate?

The deleted scene from Serenity refers to the aftermath of the Battle of Serenity Valley; it's also in the unaired version of the pilot. The former used to be available on the Fox site as History Lesson

I'm not sure the present climate in the US would allow a narrative of political cadres that desert the military they have sacrificed to pursue their own ends. But I'm from Europe.
