Every-day giggles....
That have my family rolling their eyes at me...

Daughter comes to meal wearing new irridescant eye-shadow.
"Shiney" comments my husband.

Add a stock cube - Saffron flavoured.

Hubby's going to the shops.
I ask him to get a bit of frying steak for our tea.
He comes back with a Gi-Normous piece of Rump.
My comment?
"That's enough protein to feed a family for a month - more if they don't like their kids too well"
(he replied "Are you trying to make me feel guilty?" - and he's SEEN Serenity and all....)

******************

A button got caught on the rubber seal of our tumble drier, ripped a chunk out of it, and tied the washing into a twisted tangle.

Hubby reckons we need a new seal before using it again.
My (sad) comment - "Seems like a nothing part"
He didn't make the right reply - I had to add it for him - "Until you ain't got one, then it's everything."

(The PS on this one is that the tumble seems to work with a broken seal - my washing's limpin' home - Kaylee would be proud of me).
