I was bored one evening so I looked through imdb.com and came across the first Karate Kid movie. So I checked it to see what the actors are doing now. The kid looks like he's 21 even though he's 43. I looked at Pat Morita's movie list and noticed he played a character named 'Jubal Early' in a straight to video film called "Coyote Moon". Starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and directed by John G. Avildsen (the guy who directed the first Rocky Film), for those who are interested. I never saw it and probably never will. I just thought it was interesting. "Pat Morita AS Jubal Early!!!"

hehe.....

Sorry if it's already been mentioned
bit of a paradox(?), after a quick google it turns out (another) Jubal Anderson Early was a high ranking confederate officer, who became an important southern historian (note: important does not equal accurate). His biographies describe him as eccentric, opinionated, combative, and filthymouthed
sort of similar to the Jubal Early from OiS...

Various websites claim that the name was picked because Jubal is an ancestor of the show's star, Nathan Fillion.
