Anyone ever heard of a flash mob before? Basically, you use the internet to set up a time and place to show up and start doing something in unison, then just walk away. For instance, a group might meet at 7:30 PM at the Bank of America Building in Los Angeles, chant "Ph'nglui mgwl'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" for 3 minutes, then disperse.

Generally flash mobs are convened just for kicks, but if several of them were to take place in the same area over a week or so, it might attract some media coverage, making for an effective publicity stunt.

So, what about convening a series of flash mobs to sing "The Ballad of Serenity" or "The Man They Call Jayne"?
