Well, I've decided that, for the moment, I should just hope for the best in my relationship--maybe it'll work out, maybe not.

In the meanwhile, I'm going to build up the bullpen.

So, Mal... ever get to NYC?

Why yes. Yes, I do. Quite often. Sometimes several times per day. I just up and drive to New York City from Bear, Delaware.

But I'll be first in line for the harem!

Well there's no need to get SARCASTIC!!!

I had no idea you were in Delaware... reminds me of that scene in "Wayne's World" with the bluescreen... "Hi... I'm in Delaware..."

By the way, are you the crabby cat that e-mailed me? I responded, but I wasn't entirely sure... plus, how the hell did you get my e-mail, if it WAS you?

Jefé:

She said she'd be first in line for your harem...

That means she's in your corner, dude, like we all are. Ponder this for a moment, and filter your perceptions of her playful comments through her intention of helping a friend in need, not through the pain you are experiencing.

Gently,

Sweetie, "Sarcastic" is my middle name! Seriously! Right on my birth certificate it says "Mal Sarcastic Licious."

And yes, that was me. I was concerned because I hadn't seen you on the boards in recent (for me) memory so I used the profile message thingy like Pumanman said. I assumed it would arrive stating "message from mal-licious." Plus, I keep forgetting I have a secret identity (Alfred helps me put on my Mal-licious mask in the crab cave....).

Can I still be 1st in line for the harem scare-um? Behind Zoid, that is.

'lishus, et ma familia:

Ummm, if anyone sees me (46-year old, balding male; nobody's idea of 'cute') in a harem pajama, they're gonna need more than a virtual beer, bad lighting and a serious case of myopia to find that image uplifting. I don't think they make beer goggles that thick...

I like to think I'm a fairly ugly guy; but, as a female?! Brrrr!

Transliterally,

zoid

Okay, I apologize, I went overboard with the humor/sarcasm/angst my own self...

I've been a bit... um... wonky? Is that a word? My British co-worker told me I was wonky the other day, so I guess that's it.

Here's the deal--

I'm nuts, between work, school and the g/f sit... so, I am sorry if I went, um, wonky...

Mal-- Let me know when you get to NYC each day! Seriously, thanks for the concern, I do appreciate it, even if I st times come across like a psycho nutbar.

Zoid-- beauty is skin deep, or, in the case of Linda Tripp, slightly below the aura in depth... I'm sure you'd make a beautiful woman... ?

I'll be back, got a few work-things to take care of...

I thought it was Mal Sarcasta Licious. You know named after Sarcasta, the muse of biting humor.

Jefe,

No offense was taken on my part. You were not wonky in any way, shape or form. I should have announced who I was, but I THOUGHT it would say. Oh, well, I've been wrong before. (although it was so long ago I don't remember what it was I was wrong about.)

So, how large is the harem? Can I still fight my way through the throng? Or do I have to jump up and down, waving lingerie, to get noticed?

Cephme

It's Sarcasta for short. Sometimes I don't feel like writing the whole thing out. Ooooh! That would make a great name for a band!

Wonky is so a word! I use it all the time (which may not say much for it...)

Yeah, you're right. Compared to Linda Tripp, I'm gorgeous. Come to think of it, compared to Ms. Tripp, Mickey Rooney is gorgeous, Art Rooney is captivating, and Kevin Rooney has a better nose.

And you're right: I would make a beautiful woman. In fact, I have 'made' several beautiful women in my time. So, if you want me in the harem, I'll be there with bells on (or those little finger-cymbal things). But I must warn you: Having me in the harem will be like getting a fox to guard the henhouse. If you come to the oda for some comfort from your woes and find them all sleeping soundly, you'll have no one but yourself to blame...

If I were you, I'd take me up on the virtual beer and pool, and keep me away from your wives. As the immortal John Belushi once said, "Your women! How much for your women?"

Oh, and Kellaina: Thanks for the definition! I knew of 'wonky', but I love one of the synonyms, 'bozotic'. That one's in the vocabulary for good, now.

Bozotically,

zoid

P.S.
See?! See?! "zoid tried to convince himself and others that he could please a room full of females; how bozotic!" Ooh! The possibilities...

"Bozotically?" Would that be with bright orange hair, round red nose, white face, yellow and red pajamas and extra large red shoes? Cuz if THAT showed up in MY hen house, I'd be a little wonky myownself.

Apparently, it's a 'real' word, according to the link Kellaina provided for 'wonky'.

It roughly means 'like a bozo', as opposed to 'like the Bozo'. I prefer to think of myself as genuinely clownish, as opposed to merely well-costumed...

Definitively,

As long as you are not actually dressed as a clown, then ok.

Ummmmm, your middle name is not "Wayne" is it?

Actually, Mal (means 'ill', from the French), I was initially intending to crack wise re: JWG on your first clown post, but decided it might scare the kiddies (and the research for a suitable bon mot thoroughly creepified me). There's just nothing funny down that road...

So, I just left the whole 'mass-murderer dressed as a clown' for someone else -- with a lot less tact and social sensitivity than I -- to turn into witty repartee. Sure as the little bell announcing 'You've got mail!', here we are! Aren't we a pair?

Sarca-stoically,

zoid
