I just checked the DragonCon site and it will take place Sept 2-5 here in Atlanta. If you don't already know 3 of our heroes made a big splash at this years event. What a perfect time to have ALL the cast pimping the movie! There are already guests lined up on the page. Does anyone have a way to 1) find out if any of our heroes are going to attend 2)get the word out to our heroes that they need to turn the delay into advertising bonanza?!?! Heck even Joss is welcome to show up!

I will be getting my tickets soon!

I can personally attest to the fact that Nathan, Adam, and Jewel (and of course Matty) had a blast at Dragon-Con.

Word from the connections I've got with the staffers and other insiders DC and confirmed by the 3 BDH + 1 husband, is that an invitation was extended to them and the rest to come back to Dragon-Con.

For us Dragon-Con vets, that is unprecedented. No first time guest(s), of a "big" series has been specifically invited back.

Its far from confirming they'll come, but its a good sign.

Also at the Great Buffy Hootnaney in ATL this weekend, Rich, chairperson of the Southeastern Browncoats is in the talks with the people who run the Buffy track to hold several combined Jossverse events. So even if the BDH can't make it, DC's going to be an exciting con for all the Browncoats.

DragonCon...wow. I'd forgotten about DragonCon. Atlanta's not too far from where I am. And the trip would be worth seeing some Big Damn Heroes.

FWIW, I will be attending Dragon*Con for the first time in five years in 2005.

Most of my programming will likely be on the Star Trek end of things for obvious reasons, but I'm sure there will be some Serenity-related items.

This year was my first time at DragonCon. It was a hoot!! I was there on Friday and saw the first panel with 'the guys'. I got the chat for a minute with Jewel near the Browncoat's table. I got her autograph, too! I missed Adam's preview but I did almost bump into him(literally) at the the elevators in the hotel. I also saw alot of other fine celebrities along with some costumed freaks! I highly recommend it.

Heheh, I'm sure we'll hook you up with plenty of booze so you spill all the non-spoiler details of what you know 'bout the BDM.
