Ha, just a fun post I had to put up

Do you think we'll see a homage to Buffy with a "Reaver Slayer" someday? I'm not expecting a teenage girl to be flying around hunting them down, but it's conceivable for there to be someone out there, mad with vengence, tracking them.

Does anyone else think so too?

They are somewhat vampire-esque

They feed on people, are overpowering and evil, victims left alive tend to turn into one of them.

I've never seen buffy...so I dont know if a character like her's would fit into Firefly.

Personally I think a Reaver that has reintegrated with society would be an interesting character. Perhaps a assasin or bounty hunter that was born a Reaver then chose to cast off his many mutilations and pack of fellow madmen to persue the more civilized occupation of a hired killer. I would hire an assasin who's resume said former sado-masochistic super space cannible who enjoys cooking, sewing flesh into his clothes, long walks on the beach and peeling the face off self and others.

Yeah, I could definately see a Van Heilsing / Holtz figure appearing. Someone whose family got Reavered.

Yeah! Think about it. If you hired a Reaver to kill a guy called Edgar, then you could make funny MIB references: "If you come back here and you're not wearing a brand new Edgar suit, then you don't get paid."
