KOZURE

Ni Hao Browncoats,

Last year I developed a board game based on Firefly. Firefly: The Board Game is a game for one to nine people ages 10 and up. It is played co-operatively, meaning all of the players compete against the "game" to win collectively. It can be played in 1 - 2 hours depending on the luck and experience level of the players.

I've posted about it a few times here:

Although I've had some success playing it with my friends, I'm hoping to play test it with some people who are completely new to the game. I'm hosting a playtesting session this Friday (February 11) at around 8PM in at my home in Toronto.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, e-mail me at kami_highlander@yahoo.ca and I can provide you with further details and directions.

For a taste of what the game components look like, here are some images:

If you're not in the Toronto area, but would like to try the game yourself, further instructions on how to download and assemble the game can be found in the link below.

Oh, and a little plug for the Canadian Browncoats:

...where I've met a bunch of great fellow fans in Toronto.

Sorry to self-punt - looking for a few more players for Friday's session in Toronto.

It'll be on Friday, February 11, 2005, starting at 8PM and going until around 11PM (enough time for about two sessions).

My place is northwest of St. Clair and Bathurst (Cedarvale) and has a bus route (#90) starting at St. Clair West subway station which runs right by the front door.

Refreshments provided - no experience necessary. If you're 12 or older, you can play this game. E-mail me at kami_highlander@yahoo.ca if you're interested and I can provide a PDF map and additional information if you need/want it.
