Lets make a "Firefly Theme" !!

Heya fellow Browncoats,

It seems the other thread http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=13&t=3041&m=121052#121052 in which 24HRDEJAVU offers us all a Firefly Desktop Theme was a big hoax.

I thought I would initiate a thread devoted to the creation of a "kick ass" Firefly Theme. Now.. I have absolutely no experience in making Themes but I am prepared to offer complete moral support for the project. I am also willing to be a "beta tester".

I know we have some clever (video/audio manipulating) individuals that frequent this site so if you are such a person please post regarding your willingness and abilities.

Lets make it happen people!

Okay. At the risk of sounding like an idiot... What's a theme?

(that should probably tell you that I won't be any help in creating one and will be cheering with you on the sidelines)

*editted to add: I guess what I'm really wondering is what all is involved in creating a Firefly theme? And is it anything like the XP startup versions that someone did a while back?

A desktop theme is a conglomeration of images and sounds all revolving around a specific theme. In our case Firefly. So what we want is Firefly start up and shut down audio, Firefly wallpaper and all default windows sounds replaced by Firefly sounds. Firefly fonts, screen savers etc. etc. etc.

Thanks Darkjester,

I found the themes at Themesunlimited.com, there were 2 Firefly themes listed but both had bad links..

Surprises me that fireflyfans doesnt host a Firefly theme. Anyways..

I think i'll move on.
