Can someone who was involved with bringing the Variety ad to life drop
me a line, please. mark.rushford@gmail.com -- i'm looking to do
something similar, and was wondering if you might help me by providing
information and insight into the process.

Variety wouldn't be the best place to put the ad in at this point though, it would be better to put it in USA Today or the NY Times or something...

An ad in Variety? Both the Buffy and Angel fandoms have turned to The Hollywood Reporter to place their ads and Joss and Co. See them in there. Because THR is so used to having us Whedonites call in to place one, you may have an easier time there. Just some advice.
