Zoic, the great folk what did the CGI for Firefly (and Serenity) did the CGI for BSG too. SO they snuck in a Firefly class ship for all us browncoats.

As TheGreyJedi pointed out, Zoic did the special effects for both shows, so that would explain why our favorite class of freighter shows up in the skies of Caprica.

I'm voting for Book. He's got the right vibe, with all that 'preoccupation with God' thing. And since there could be many copies of him, everyone's pet theory about him (i.e., he was an Alliance general, judge, bounty hunter, assassin, et cetera) could be correct, simultaneously. A copy of him could have been each of those things...

More fun: The Cylons are so fascinated with humans. What would they have made of Reavers, and whatever Shiva-like god of destruction they worship? Better yet, what parts of the Cylons would Reavers rape, eat and sew into their clothing, in whatever order?
