Hi! I've been posting all over the place, but I never introduced myself properly! So, Hi everyone! How y'all doin? I'm so glad I took a chance on Firefly. I hadn't been able to see it, (I didn't have sky) but being an avid Buffy and Angel fan, I had of course heard of it. When the DVD came out over hear and I read nothing but excellent reviews, I decided to take a chance on it. And how brilliant is it? Not that I need to tell you - do I? You all obviously agree with me! (Which makes a pleasant change). Anyway I'm going to try and stop rambling and just say how glad I am that I found this site! Everyone's really nice and everything. Rock on everyone!

Welcome! I guess this answers a question someone previously asked about whether we have any Browncoats in Wales.

I am always proud of those who made the leap of faith and went to the expense of buying the Firefly DVDs even without having seen any of the episodes!

BTW I hope you know that tomorrow the film trailer for Serenity will be on line, I can't wait....

Hi FLfairy! I am SO a DA fan (my second fav behind FF) Since you've only recently arrived, check out the thread 'Dark Angel: 2nd season episodes that don't suck' at the 'Other science fiction series' forum! (may have been archived by now, long time since I did that thread). I think you'll find it interesting. The only tatoo I've ever even entertained the notion of getting was a barcode on the back of my neck, but haven't done it yet..[can you say 'geek'?]

So, greetings and salutations! And you're right, this is the best site I've ever seen (take a bow, long-timers, no need to be humble here).

Have you read the DA books? (beware spoilers on that thread I mentioned if you haven't)

Thanks for that! Will do. I haven't read any DA books yet, they don't seem to have many over this side of the Atlantic, but I'll keep my eye open. Thanks again mate. (and you know what else is really annoying - they've stopped short of the end of s1 of DA on channel 5, so I had to get all the DVD's to know what was gonna happen. Probably would have anyway though. n wow this is a long braketimified sentence.)
