I can't call. I'm at work and I've already been involved in some slightly dodgy chicanery just to get the time off. If they find out I haven't already booked my tickets, they may just kill me. Or at least, it'd definitely hurt my promotion chances!

The phone lines are all permanently engaged and the website is breaking in other areas too.

Perhaps if these people can't run a professional operation they should step aside and let someone who can take over.

Hey, be fair - this happens to Ticketmaster and most other such sites. Of course it's frustrating but with the demand I fail to see that any other organiser's website or telephone lines would be any more reliable.

Having said that, the invalid credit card message people keep getting is just silly...and goodness knows there's nothing more heart-breaking than actually getting the item in your shopping basket and then losing it.

Fair? I have no objection to the fact that they have lots of engaged signals and that it can be hard to get to the booking page. That is the natural blockage when 10,000s of people are trying to get to hundreds of tickets. I understand and acknowledge that.

What I object to is that when I and the others here manage to get through on the phones or the page allows us to order tickets, we are instead given an answerphone message or told that our credit card numbers are invalid.

If another fan gets the tickets before I do, that's fair enough, I can accept that. What I can't stand is that having gone through the hoops, there is a brick wall covering the finishing line.

If I was being unfair, by the way, the words I would have used include amateur, pathetic, shambolic, useless, arrogant, wasteful, disorganised and in honour of this being a Scottish festival, bunch of pish artists.

*carries on refreshing the page and dialing on two phones regardless*
