Hey History! My friend Firefly Gal has offered to give you a big hug...ditto here, stop by our table! (I see you've already seen the bags...

)

You will have a blast no matter what. Browncoats are a very special group, and lots of stories will be told, and friends made. You'll find yourself traveling to places just to see them (and well, the BDHs also) that you would have never believed possible.

I'm in the airport, waiting on leg 1 of my trip to Burbank from CA...Firefly Gal is in the other end of the terminal (she's flying to LAX instead of BUR), and will beat me there, but we'll all catch up later (after I finish my gorram qual methods paper that's due at 5PM tomorrow!)

As you are or will be soon aware, Flan 2 is kaput. I do not know what to expect when I arrive at the Hilton tomorrow ~4pm (You can bet your sweet bippie I'm coming to Burback anyway.

).

I read "Flan B": Back-up Bash is now on again [those SoCal Browncoats and friends are just wonderful). I hope there will be some information available at the hotel of who to call and where to go. I'm just a country doc from Maine, and while I'm no Jed Clampet, I'll be feeling a little out of place in the City of Angels.

Feel free to leave messages for me at the front desk of where Browncoats are congregating. As with the last announcement of cancellation, Booster Events may be have gone into the red (those purplebellies), but Browncoats will continue to thrive out in the Black.
