In all seriousness it just seemed two unbelievable that you would have all these different monsters about but the majority of the world unaware. Angle had the same problem, but I liked David Boreanaz so I would watch that if I came by it. Same thing for Bones now. I do not fear God, I fear the ignorance of man.

I like Buffy a lot, but Angel even more, mainly due to the darker tone and because I think it had one of the best series finales of all time. I appreciate Dollhouse more now than when I watched it on first broadcast, plus the original pilot "Echo" was better than the first episode we did get to see, "Ghost." I didn't get to see that or "Epitaph" until the DVDs were released.

Are you just saying that because SMG played Daphne in the movies ? Or because of the fact the whole crew was in HS, and they basically went around, facing creepies ? But you bring up a very good point, about so many 'monsters' in the world, and no one else seeming to come in contact w/ them, or knew of their existence. I had pretty much the same issue, and that was in part what turned me off from B & A as well. The best example of all this ? Lorne. I hated this character at first, because I didn't GET who or what he was suppose to be. And did no one else SEE that he was all green and such ? Or did only certain folks get to see his REAL self, and everyone else just saw him as a random, normal guy. Took me a while to get on board, but once I did, and started paying attention, Lorne became one of my favorite characters. After Spike, of course. Those 2 I did a full 180 on, from not liking /caring about them to being my favorites. Props to the actors and writers for those two, especially.

I compared to Scooby Doo because of high school and the whole monster of the week feel. Granted I never got into the show so never watched a lot of episodes. For me to really get into a show it has to be something that I don't find trouble with when really thinking about it. I may do this to a fault, and why I'm not liking the Firefly comics at all. I do not fear God, I fear the ignorance of man.
