We've been doing Llama Shots in the par-tay
thread, but I don't want to use up the Dew
or any other of the greeting drinkables
there. And it'd be so easy to do.

Here ya go, DarkFly (#21622), a drop of
the Dew for you.

And a symbolic strawberry out of the wooden
box today. Isn't often I run across berries
in Special Boxes but I lucked out today.

The virtual coat is out of my province but I
feel confident you'll get one soon enough,
whether it be permanent or temporary.

Bring your funny banner in so we can hang it
with the others in the top of the cargo bay.
Looking very shiny up there, I think.

Now come on up to the galley and settle down
with us and the big buffet. Chocolate ice-
planets ran out but I have here a re-supply.
And now we have sour cream for an important
layer of the Captain's Evil Repeating Bean
Dip. Just give me a hand with these bags of
chips, there's a dear.

Tasia, thanks for your kind comments about "A Chance For the Black". I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

JamaicanBatman, great job on the conversions. If there's one thing the 'verse needs more of, it's browncoats. And love, sweet love.

Speaking of browncoats, I see that FollowMal has been too busy with other duties to hand any out from her stock of shiny new ones. So please, you two, grab one from my stack of patched-up recycled coats.

You too, Kingkiller, CarolJude, and Darkfly -- you three could use some leathers.

Now, don't expect a perfect fit or that nice fresh leather smell. It's pertty hard to find coats to repair. Funny thing is, nobody seems to want to give them up once they have 'em.

Still, if FollowMal ever gets to you with a pristine coat, you can just drop off the old one in the storeroom so I can pass it along to the next new recruit.

And please, make yourselves to home. Don't hesitate to jump in and talk -- we love stories.

I thought at one point that I should go
to the place, wherever it was, that I'd seen
a display of the things hanging upside down
but realized with a jolt that The Place was
on Lilac where the robbery took place in
Serenity. Reality check, anyone? Sheeze...

I've known about FireFly for about a month, when a friend lent me her copy. (yeah, I live at the bottom of a well) Once I cleared some of my anime backlog, the set only lasted 6 nights. I lost a couple of copies on eBay, but won a used copy of Serenity, which arrived yesterday. I ordered my own copy of Firefly from the link on our homepage today.

I spent a couple some hours reading at arielambulance.org but don't remember how I got there? I THINK I got here somehow from WHEDONesque, but I'm really not sure... I was looking for some info on whether there was any chance of more stories after Serenity, or a way to deal with the disappointment if there wasn't. Kinda like Ron Glass in the extras when he says he's still waiting to not get all teary-eyed when he thinks of the show...

I think I'm gonna go watch Serenity and then... :-(

'Lo there. I'm Krys. Been a Browncoat for a while now. Saw a marathon of Firefly on Sci-Fi and fell in love. Bought the DVD's right after. Got Serenity right as it came on DVD as well. (Missed the movie in theatres by about two weeks.)

Saw Serenity on Showtime the other day and decided to check Wikipedia for any updates on a second movie or more comics. Followed the links at the bottom here. Nice place. Is there a thread for fan episodes/fiction around her, per chance?

Hi, I'm Browncoat26, brother of Morwen112 and this is my Firefly story:

At first, I didn't really like it because the first night my sister got me to watch it, I had had one of the most horrible days ever and I was tired so I fell asleep within the first ten minutes. But then, Morwen and my Dad and I watched Serenity, the movie, and I really liked it. My favorite character was Mal. And then my sister ordered Firefly and from then on I've been a Browncoat.

Wash is cool, too!

Ok hi, I joined about 15 minutes ago, but not really being a big fan of message boards I posted something in my firefly log (?), just a hello really. I'm mostly here looking for graphics, because I don't have Photoshop, and for the company -- my efforts at turning everyone around me into a flan have only been marginally successful.

I'll come right out and say it -- I have a huge crush on Simon. Even though my favorite character is River. Or maybe Wash. I can't decide.

Well, that's all. I'm heading to sleep since in the misfortune of the real world I must go to work in the morning....
