New to this forum. Thanks for making it by the way. I loved Firefly from the moment it started..and I mean the moment I saw Trainjob..quality writing is the term I am looking for. However, I think the movie sequel thing is gonna be a bigger mountain than some might think for Joss Whedon. Todays movie companies ie...Universal,WB etc..have one thing in mind...mass marketing money producing. They want it to be able to attract the pockets of the masses. Well, in my opinion the masses are the ones who have the money to go to cinemas and buy DVD's etc..but fans of Serenity and Firefly are real people if I may be so bold..and say real people don't always have the money..I think the only way a sequel will be doable for not only Joss Whedon but all creative writers like Joss Whedon is for us, the public to have more choice of Movie companies. Preferably ones with more vision and understanding of creative writing. They may not always get the big pay off, but will gain respect from alike writers for having the b**lls to take a chance. Of course that company needs to have enough money to be able to lose a few million dollars if that gamble doesn't go well with the masses.
Thanks for reading.

I seriously doubt there will be a Serenity 2, let alone a trilogy. I had all intention in the world of watching Wonder Woman. Joss' track record of strong female characters lead me to trust in his work on it. Warner Bros. Pictures and Silver Pictures purchased a spec script written by Matthew Jennison (Beerfest) and Brent Strickland. So, its likely it will now be a parody movie. I can see why Joss left.

I hate to say it, but i prefer Joss as a TV guy anyways. With each failure in film (his OR the studios), that brings him this much closer to coming BACK to TV. While i still like his movie work, his TV work is too good.
