Certain people around here might remember how much the Verse' meant to me at one time, and I'd really like to feel that way about it again, but I just can't seem to recapture the emotions that I used to feel. And it's not just the Verse', either. I'm feeling disturbingly numb to... everything. I don't know what's wrong with me, but it's beginning to make me feel really nervous. Like on the verge of crying and not knowing why, but not being able to, like a fg female... n' shit...I've actually tried to force tears in conditions like this before, but it's just not coming.

Quote: Roslin started out just fine. Admirable, even. I liked her. But the last part of season 2 and the entirety of season 3, she has become more and more arrogant, dictatorial, scheming, dishonest, and absolutely believes in her own delusions of gradeur. As if her opinions and beliefs are the only right ones, so Her Will must be done. She's slowly taking away the rights and freedoms of all the people in the fleet because of her own arrogance, suggesting that the people don't know what's best for them. So, take away their freedoms, and have them live safely as slaves rather than die free? Maybe I'm too independent - heh, as my boss told me in my performance review *snikker* - but I just don't like where she's headed.

As far as the females go, myself I've always been envious that theyre more 'in touch' then we are with emotions. I got pointed to your comment by a friend and hesitate to say anything since I dont know your particular experiences. But if you wanna chat just give a shout. Myself. I know when I got back and had a proper meal again it almost made me cry it tasted so good. And CLEAN SHEETS! Man....how could I feel empty. And shopping in a grocery store I couldnt get enough of! I was in New Mexico near Taos last February and went up into the moutains and couldnt believe it didnt smell like burnt rubber or look like dirty ash. And afterward I got to sit with friends and have a proper beer! And next to a warm fire! Man it was like heaven! So everytime I feel tempted to get depressed or feel empty I just remember the day to day then and the day to day now. Go out with a friend. Have a beer. Eat some good food and f**king smile at how amazing everything is here. Just my 2 cents. But give a shout if you want to get back. :)
